Splash Appeal chosen as Lord Mayor's Charity 2010
Lord Mayor of Swansea, Councillor Richard Lewis and Lady Mayoress Angela Lewis have chosen Splash as one of two charities to benefit
from the Lord Mayor's Charity Fund.
Councillor Lewis visited the PMLD Unit at Penllergaer Primary School in April to meet with pupils, staff and Splash fundraisers prior
to his inauguration as Lord Mayor of Swansea in May.
Splash Trustee and fundraiser, Deborah Stones confirmed that discussions were underway to plan fundraising activities throughout 2010/2011.
"We're delighted that Splash has been chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the Lord Mayor's Charity Fund. It will be a real boost to the appeal
which currently stands at over £82,000."
